Our live-in care is a service that allows our clients to live within their home environment safely, surrounded by familiar comforts and routines with the support, care and companionship of a fully-trained and qualified carer that is matched to them. With our live-in care packages, one of our carers would move into a client's home to provide one to one full time support.
Our live-in care service provides our clients with an alternative to residential care or sheltered housing when their care needs change or become greater. Rather than having to undergo stressful changes, our live-in care offers clients continuity and a smooth transition without uprooting them from their home, friends, family and community. Families also have peace of mind knowing that there is someone always there to support their loved one.
We offer two types of live-in care packages. Find out more about each one below.
Our companionship package includes full time live-in care and support for clients that require minimal assistance with personal care tasks and have good mobility. Our carers will prepare meals, prompt medication and undertake general housekeeping. They will also be there to help clients to continue living the life they have always known and do the things they enjoy the most, from shopping trips and appointments, to attending social events or popping out for a coffee.
Our extended care package includes all the same things as the companionship package but is tailored to clients that require a greater level of support with personal care tasks, with dementia care, with reduced mobility and incontinence care.

“My mother was in a care home and she was really unhappy, so we took the decision to bring her back to her own home with personalised support and care. We didn’t realise it would be so difficult to find the type support and standard of care that we as a family expected. We employed 2 care agencies but both were unreliable and they just weren’t in tune with what mum needed. We then found Heydays, who’s promises of personalised support and care were a reality, not something they made up to go in their literature! Mum is now in her own home surrounded by her own things, the care and support that she is receiving is excellent, she is living the way she wants to and is back to being happy and content.”
