Heydays

Established in Grange-over-Sands in 2011, Heydays Care & Support Services are proud to be the leading professional home care agency in South Cumbria and Lancashire.

Our founders, Kelly and Dawn started the business over ten years ago with a simple aim: to create a home care service where care always comes first.

This forms the basis of our Heydays philosophy – to be ‘The Heart of Home Care’. With supporting hands and caring hearts, care always come first at Heydays. We believe it is this warm, caring culture that makes Heydays so special.

What our clients say about us

For about a year, Heydays have kindly provided a 'live-in' carer for mum when I am away. It is usually the same friendly, capable lady which is great for continuity. Kelly and Dawn have always been so helpful and accommodating, having real empathy for family/carers, always encouraging us to have regular breaks for the good of our own health! I feel I can do this, as we completely trust and have confidence in the carers Heydays employ.

What our clients say about us

Heydays have looked after my mother, aged 83 for over a year. She looks on her carers as her friends and because they are so reliable, compassionate, and respectful, I know I do not need to worry. Heydays allocate her a small team (usually 2) which means she can build up a good relationship with each carer, and they get to know her and her specific needs, providing valuable continuity. They are willing to do anything that needs doing, and genuinely seem to care about Mum. Dawn and Kelly coordinate her care very efficiently, are always available to talk through any issues, and I have found them unfailingly willing to listen to and address the concerns of the family. Full marks!

What our clients say about us

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you and your ladies for looking after my wife Linda so well during her recent incapacity. I’ve got to admit that I was slightly apprehensive when our original carers exited, but the two young ladies Danielle and Julie, who admirably stepped into the breach as our two main carers, were absolutely brilliant. You certainly have found a couple of gems there. They didn’t just go the extra mile, it was more like the extra marathon. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Heydays to anyone and wish your organisation all the very best for the future.

What our clients say about us

Heydays cared for my mum Joyce in Grange over Sands before she sadly died in 2017. I just wanted to say that I hope all the staff at Heydays stay safe and well during this time. I know they will be continuing to give the exceptional care to all their clients as they did for my mum. My thanks to you all for all you do. Please pass my very kind regards to all the carers mum had and all others that are continuing to work. Without you I don’t know what I would have done.
