Heydays were recommended to us whilst urgently searching for carers as both my mother and father were due to be released from hospital last year. We were very fortunate that they had just increased their capacity in the area so we were able to secure a twice-daily visit for home help just when we needed it. Sadly my mother did not return home and died shortly after- this left my father in need of care, compassion and to have all the worries of daily tasks of living taken care of as he grieved and started to get used to being on his own. His need for companionship was filled by the carers visits which he always looked forward to. It was a great comfort to us that there were regular visitors to the house and that we knew he was being well looked after. As his needs grew Heydays readily stepped up their level of care until it became obvious that his needs would be more appropriately met in a residential home. I can’t praise the Heydays team highly enough for their work in looking after him and his home, their work often going above and beyond expectations. I can thoroughly recommend them for their skills, their genuine care for their clients and as totally trustworthy when looking after vulnerable adults
