Quality and Compliance Officer

At Heydays, we deliver personalised home care and support across South Cumbria, including Grange-over-Sands, Kendal, Barrow, Levens, Milnthorpe, Cartmel and the South Lakes communities.

Quality and Compliance Officer

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Quality and Compliance Officer to join our friendly team at Heydays Care. Working closely with our Registered Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards our clients and families trust us for — helping ensure our service continues to meet and exceed CQC requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting care plan and documentation audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitoring and improving quality standards, policies, and procedures
  • Supporting with CQC inspection preparation and internal reviews
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the service
  • Providing guidance and support to care staff to maintain excellence in person-centred care

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience working in health and social care — ideally within domiciliary or community care
  • A solid understanding of CQC regulations and quality assurance processes
  • Great organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care

This is a Grange-based role, with the opportunity to make a real difference across our South Lakes service. If you’re ready to help us deliver exceptional care while ensuring we stay at the forefront of quality and compliance, we’d love to hear from you.
