We believe that being open about how we work helps families feel confident in the care we provide. Below you will find an overview of our policies, which are regularly reviewed and updated in line with best practice and legislation.
Every policy at Heydays is more than just a document — it reflects our values, responsibilities, and commitment to the people we support. Whether it’s safeguarding, staff training, or infection control, each policy ensures that our care is safe, consistent, respectful and tailored to an individual's needs.

“Heydays look after my mother, aged 83. She looks upon her two carers as her friends and because they are so reliable, compassionate and respectful, I know I do not need to worry about her.
Her carers have got to know her and her specific needs well, providing valuable continuity. Kelly and Dawn are always available to talk through any issues and I have found them unfailingly willing to listen to and address any concerns of the family. Full marks!"”
Nicola, Cartmel
We are proud to make our policies available for families, staff, and regulators to review. This openness ensures accountability and demonstrates our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of care.
